It's a great game, but I'd have to say the DLC is pointless imo. I picked it up about a month ago with nearly all the DLC for $35. Let me know if you have any more questions, I'm about to go to bed but I'll answer in the morning! Or DM me. It's alright, I find it a nice challenge but every once in a while it gets tiring from being gunned down from 60meters by a guy holding a pistol sideways, y'know what I mean? That being said, I find the story elements excellent, and highly recommend playing through on an easier difficulty (normal/maybe hard) and just trying to be tactical and take your time and enjoy the game. There is a "tier" system where you make the game hard, do missions and get experience, and get cosmetic items in return. The AI teammates aren't great but they're passable on lower difficulties. The activities around the world are going to get old real quick though, they're super repetitive. You'll find the events around the world that allow you to grow your character like an RPG, but by the end or even middle of the game, depending on how many side-quests you do, you'll find you have most if not all skills unlocked.

If you're a fan of the series, it is cool to have a more open world adventure of Ghost Recon. I have the base game and no DLC's and typically play solo. I would recommend it on a sale, certainly not for the $50 it goes for on Steam.
